How to Make the Easiest Flavorful Kale Chips

Flavorful Kale Chips are so trendy right now, but a lot of people are intimidated when it comes to making them at home. They are coveted partly because you can’t just buy a bag of Kale Chips at most grocery stores.

Kale Chips are made with a very fiber rich leafy green that’s packed with iron. I like mine crunchy and lightly seasoned.

To make them, I start with large fresh Kale leaves that have been washed and the stems separated. After they are clean I dry them really well using a clean dish towel. The drier the leaves the easier the cooking process. Wet leaves = longer baking time and uneven cooking.

Once the leaves are dry, I massage the leaves by squeezing them gently. This loosens up the leaves and helps them lay flatter on the baking sheet.

A 9X9 sheet pan of Kale Chips take 10 to 15 minutes to dry out on 250o.
