How to Create A Budget plus Printable Budget Sheets

At the end of every month Germaine and I sit down and create a new budget for the coming month.

We do what’s called a zero based budget. We assign a purpose to every dollar of our pay check on paper before the month starts. Whether saving, eliminating debt, paying bills or spending, we decide before we’re paid.

We assign a purpose to every dollar on our monthly budget sheet, then update the sheet each week as we’re paid.

There are three major sections to the sheet as you’ll see in the video. Our focus in managing our money is knowing what’s coming in and going out.

Before you watch my budgeting video, hop over to my channel and subscribe. I create new videos weekly and it’s the best way to make sure you don’t miss them.

Now, let’s take a look at how Germaine and I use our budget sheet.

Now that you’ve watched my tutorial, let’s talk about budgets. What’s holding you back from starting or sticking with a budget?

  2. I really enjoy your videos…especially the finance and budgeting tutorials. Could you make a video that includes the exact amounts you use for each expense? such as how much you budget for groceries, entertainment, utilities, children, etc. I'd love to know so I could get a better idea of how much I should be allotting for each catergory. Thank you!

    1. I will make a periscope video later this month sharing a break down of what we allot for each category.

Let's continue to conversation in the comment section.
