All of them are located in downtown Charlotte and serve flavorful food and or desserts!
The first place we ate at was IRO in the Hyatt Centric South Park. We’d booked a room there for the weekend and since breakfast was complimentary for Hyatt Globalist we decided to try the restaurant.
We’d stayed here before and didn’t eat here because Germaine thought the food wouldn’t be good, but he was surprised this time because it was amazing.
We ate here two mornings in a row and each time, ordered something different. On both days, we were surprised by how delicious everything was.
For lunch, we tried a new Korean barbecue spot in downtown Charlotte called Seoul Food Meat Co.
This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I lived in Korea for a while so I was looking forward to tasting some of the flavors to see if they were authentic. What I found is the food is really delicious and has a unique spin on the flavors. My favorite was the Pork Belly and ribs, but you should definitely watch the video to the end for tips on how to order and what to order.
The last place I want to share wit you is a dessert spot in the suburbs of Charlotte somewhat close to the airport. It’s called Swirl and they make amazing cupcakes, cookies and ice-cream creations.
I would have loved to try a little bit of everything, but I’m not trying to be reckless with my weight. So what I did was pick two cupcakes and let me tell you…they were the perfect way to end the day.
After watching the video, you’ll have somewhere you can eat for breakfast, lunch/dinner and even dessert. If you’re enjoying our foodie content, make sure you subscribe to our blog and YouTube channel or both.
