Hey folks, I know a lot of you are probably in the process of planning Spring Break. We don’t always travel but this year we are and to keep our trip organized I’m using this Spring Break Travel Itinerary. Anytime we travel I create an itinerary. In fact, I’m the one handing out packets we plan extended family travel. Everyone that’s part of the trip gets an envelope or folder that lays out the details of the trip.
Making sure everyone is in the loop makes traveling easier and keeps me from having to answer the same questions multiple times. It also keeps me organized. I’m getting older folks and my memory isn’t what it used to be.
We’re flying to New Jersey to spend spring break Junior, who’s a freshman at Princeton University. We let Niyah and Juwan decide where we’d spend spring break this year. They could choose between spending their break in the mountains around the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area or spending it with their older bro. They decided they wanted to go hang out with their bro so were head back up north in a few weeks.
Niyah and Juwan are both teens so I’m getting them involved in the planning part of the trip this year. I printed this itinerary and will have Niyah fill it in. Once it’s complete, we’ll print a copy for everyone so we’re all on the same page. We’ll have a family meeting or two prior to the trip to answer questions and make sure everyone is in-the-know.
