5 Day Meal Plan and Snack Pairings

This post has been sponsored by Lily’s Sweets, Epic, Kodiak Cakes & Simple Mills. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve appreciated the unexpected change in routine these last couple of months. The early start to summer break, more time with the family and a non-existent schedule was much needed. However, it’s time to get back into a routine for fall, starting with meals.

I’ve partnered with the following brands to give you five entree and snack ideas that are meal-prep-friendly and coincide with the Publix promotion on Lily’s Sweets, EPIC Provisions, Kodiak Cakes & Simple Mills products. 5 Day Vegetarian Meal Plan + Snack Pairings

Publix is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at for weekly meal prepping. They have a unique variety of produce that keeps my meals exciting, but also an extensive line of products in the aisles that make my meals extra special. Products with fun textures like in the Epic Pork Rinds, pork skins raised without antibiotics, the flavor variety of Lily’s Chocolate Bars sweetened with stevia, the familiar ingredients in the Kodiak Cakes, crafted with 100% whole grains, or Simple Mills Nutty Banana Bread Soft Baked Bars with only whole food ingredient to make creating lunch an adventure.

When planning my meals ahead, I pick entrees that are best eaten cold or that taste great reheated. Pastas, salads, veggies and legumes are my go-to’s. They can be used to create a light or hearty dish depending on what I put in them. For pastas, I love going cold with those. Pastas paired with fresh vegetables, grains and some kind of dressing are my favorite.

When planning my lunch box, I like to fill it with different textures, colors and flavors. I feel like meals should be fun, and one way to make it fun is by adding something savory, sweet, crunchy and soft.

To give you an idea of what a week’s worth of meal prep looks like, I decided to show you what snacks I bought during the Publix sale and what entree I paired them with.

Having my meals prepped ahead of time helps me stay on track with the wellness goals and takes away the daily burden of thinking about what to eat. The entrees are all vegetarian-based and when paired with the snacks I got at Publix will make lunch for me an adventure this week.

It’s always a pleasure shopping at Publix and sharing sneak peeks of what’s going on in my kitchen. I hope you enjoyed these meal prep tips and five days of food pairing ideas.

If my meals inspire you to try them, take a photo, share it online and tag me— @apronsandstilletos so I can see it. As you plan your meals this fall make checking the Publix sales part of the process.
