This is going to be one of the easiest and yummiest peach cobbler recipes you’ll ever make.
I made it using fresh peaches and as soon as I tasted it I knew it was too yummy and easy not to share with you.
- 3 cups of fresh or canned peaches (I used fresh)
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
If you use fresh peaches you’ll need to remove the skin first. Next, dice or slice them into the sizes you prefer. I prefer petite diced pieces versus slices.
Now layer your peaches in the bottom of your baking dish and sprinkle with the lemon juice.
In a separate bowl mix the flour, sugar and egg together.
I mix until it forms a mixture or clumps and fine powder but shows not signs of remaining wetness from the egg.
Then evenly sprinkle the mixture over your peaches.
I try to make sure there is barely if any peaches peeking out from under the mixture and then I drizzle it with 1/4 cup of melted butter.
Place in the oven on 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
This can be eaten immediately or served later. I like min plain or topped with vanilla ice cream.
