Simple Snacks for Your Meal Plan

People always think it’s some mystery as to why I’m so skinny and fit. It’s pretty much related to what I eat and exercise. I exercise 4 to 5 days a week and I typically plan out each weeks meals at the end of the previous week. Part of my meal planning includes a before breakfast and late afternoon snack.

I don’t generally eat breakfast before I head to the gym since I don’t usually wake up hungry. Instead I make some kind of breakfast smoothie or protein drink.

I grew up without breakfast everyday so I like when I can support brands that give back to food related causes.

So let me show you how easy the breakfast drinks I make at home are to make. 

The ones I use in the snack part of my meal plan often only require three ingredients.

  • Milk
  • Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials
  • Fruit

I pop everything in the blender, pour and chug. These quick breakfast drinks are just what I need to wake me up and get me through an early morning workout.

It’s all pretty basic, but it gives your body what it needs to get going.

      Once you have your breakfast powder, you can pretty much add any fruit to it and blend.

      Menu planning gets easier and easier the more you do it. So start off with just one meal a week and add on from there.
