Simple Natural Hair Pompadour Protective Style

Here’s another simple and sophisticated natural hair protective style.
The reason why it’s protective is because all of the ends of your hair will be tucked away.
For this style I have my hair in a semi high ponytail. I braided the loose hair and wrapped it around the ponytail.
I then made a small braid using Marley hair, and wrapped it around my existing bun.
The Marley hair is not neccesary, but I add it for two reasons.
  1. To protect my braided ends.
  2. To make my bun larger.
For the pompadour  in the front, I simply combed my bangs forward then pinned them back.
It takes some practice getting the shape right, but it’s simply a tuck, stuff and pin here and there.
