Do it Yourself

Shop with me at Goodwill

I love shopping at Goodwill and fining unexpected treasures and deals. This week when I went, I found a lot of cute items and some that were already on my want list.

The first things I spotted were super cute shoes from Target. All of them were brand new with tags still on them. I did not get them all though.

I thought these Cherokee camouflage and studded flats were adorable. All of the shoes were under $6 which is great for a brand new pair.

The other shoes I thought were way cute are these pointed studded Mossimo flats. These could look so cute with so many things in my closet but I didn’t get these either.

Now these right here….I had to have. I’ve wanted a pair of sneaker wedges ever since the trend busted on the scene two years ago.
Because this is a trendy style that I was thinking would go out of style fairly quickly I never bought a pair, but for under $6 brand new — chile pleeze!!
I’ll take them.

The other items I picked up are from the household section.

I found this outrageously heavy lead crystal clock. It needs a new battery but it’s beautiful. There were no cracks or damage to it and the price was too uh-may-zing!!

I can’t decide whether to leave this baby on my desk or on my nightstand. It looks great both places.

I also picked up this adorable gold turtle. It reminds me of the Nate Burkus on at Target only smaller. I love this Turtle.
She sits on my desk ad makes me smile when she sparkles in the sun. I have no idea what it is used to hold but it looks like it could hold a bar of soap.
I will use it at my desk to hold paper clips and on my nightstand from time to time to hold me wedding ring and earrings.

Finally, I picked up the clear containers. I’m not sure what they were used for but I have a great idea for them that I’ll share with you in a later post.

What’s your favorite piece from this shopping trip?
