Samsung Kitchen Update

The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. If y’all could see the inside of my refrigerator right now you would shake your head in disbelief. It’s a hot mess in there. One shelf is broken, one drawer missing and another cracked. With the shelving and drawer issues, all semblance of refrigerator organization has disappeared. Now every time I go into Best Buy, I’m pricing refrigerators. The one that’s on my radar is this Samsung – Family Hub 2.0 22.2 Cu. Ft., refrigerator. This baby is the luxury refrigerator of refrigerators. I touch it every time I’m in Best Buy and my husband has to drag me away. [Click here to continue reading]

How I Motivate Myself to Exercise | Gym to Street Style

I have a love-hate relationship with fitness y’all! I love the results of working out but I hate working out. Well, I hate getting up and going to the gym, but once I get going I’m so glad that I went. My biggest motivation is the fact that I reward myself for reaching my goals. To get myself excited and consistent with working out, I had to find out what would compel me to actually go. For me it’s shopping for fitness gear. I don’t do a lot of random shopping. The way my budget is set up, I just feel like I have enough clothes and there are so many other things I’d rather do with my money than wear it. However, I do [Click here to continue reading]

Honduras “Christ Statue” El Picacho

If you’re going to be in Tegucigalpa, Honduras I’m going to tell you about a “not-so-secret” must-see monument. The Christ at El Picacho is in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. The city is amazing and overflowing with culture. As soon as we stepped off of the plane onto the tarmac at Toncontin International Airport, we knew we weren’t in the U.S. anymore. I’ve travelled to several continents and have never landed on the tarmac, so that alone was worth the trip. After spending a few days in the guest [Click here to continue reading]

Amsterdam, Netherlands One-Day Walking Tour

A few weeks ago while traveling to Kenya, my husband and I had some time to kill on a layover in Amsterdam. We could either spend six hours sitting in the airport, or go out and see the city. We knew we’d be a bit tired once we arrived in Amsterdam, so we didn’t want to plan a hectic itinerary. Instead, we opted for breakfast and a walking tour of the Netherlands. I really wanted to see the canals in person and get some waffles. After leaving the airport and getting our passports stamped, we hopped on the train to the Amsterdam Central. It took us about 10 minutes to make our way from the terminal, through customs and over to the train station. Then [Click here to continue reading]
