Do it Yourself

Outdoor Hydration and Snack Tablescape Idea

Today’s Outdoor Hydration and Snack Tablescape Idea and #HydrationToGo CVS shopping trip has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

We have two decks, one each on the main and lower levels of our home.

During the summer we use our lower deck the most because it’s nice and shaded. I have table on that deck and love staging it for an afternoon out back.

There are a few essentials I like to use when staging that table. Some are decorative while others are necessary.

When staging my table to just sit out side my goals is snacking and hydration. I start planning around that idea by bringing out beverages and containers.

What we drink usually depends on whatever I picked up on sale. This week it was vitaminwater at CVS Pharmacy. We keep a few of these on hand to go in our gym bag or to grab anytime we’re outdoors during the summer.

When setting my outdoor hydration and snack tablescape I also bring out my glass flat bottomed bottles. I like to fill them with ice water and they are gorgeous nestled in my tabletop wine rack.

While we could always enjoy the vitaminwater straight from the bottle, I use any chance I can get to bring out glassware and fun straws. I have and assortment of straw colors and styles for my family or guests to choose from, which I corral and display in a 6 cup mason jar.

A must have component to my outdoor hydration and snack tablescape is a serving tray. My serving trays give me a chance to bring in more color and also transport multiple items in and out of the house easily.

For the snack portion of the outdoor hydration and snack tablescape, I kept it simple by servings fruit and chips.

I often use cake pan lids to cover items I don’t want exposed to the elements.

The last thing I add to my table are plants. I love bringing my houseplants outdoors for some air. Their leaves always seem to perk up after a few hours outdoors.

We plan to enjoy the rest of this beautiful summer weather in our backyard as much as we can while staying hydrated.
