One Day Guest Bathroom Update

My guest bathroom post and #V8EnergyBoost shopping trip have been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

I knew when I woke up this morning I was going to need an extra boost of energy.
I was finally tackling my guest bathroom update and I wanted it finished before the sun went down.

To consider this project complete by sundown I’d need to do the following.

  1. Frame the mirror.
  2. Repaint.
  3. Update the lighting.
  4. Install flooring.
  5. Install shelves.

The very first thing I did was hit the gym for about an hour then stopped by Walmart to pick up frozen pizza and energy drinks.

On days when I have big home improvement projects, I plan easy dinner and snacks. I bought a few frozen pizzas and two 6-packs of V8-V-Fusion+Energy Drinks. Once I put everything in the fridge, I started painting the bathroom.

Once the paint dried I started cutting the trim to update the mirror with a frame.

After getting the pieces in place I started installing the flooring. It’s the same one I used in my master bedroom makeover so I had it installed pretty quickly.

By now I was out of energy and needed a boost to get me through the final part of this bathroom update. Since I needed to kill time while the paint and glue finished drying, I grabbed a few cold V8-V-Fusion+Energy Drinks, some apples and relaxed on the back porch for a bit.

These V8-V-Fusion+Energy Drinks come in so many yummy flavors, but my favorite are the peach mango and black cherry. They’re made with natural energy from green tea and have 1/4 cup of vegetables and 1/4 cup of fruit. I like how refreshing they are on a hot day.

After a quick break I got back to work installing the new lighting and shelves.

The only things left to do are update the second mirror in this bathroom, add some trim around the base boards and caulk the trim on the mirror.

I am so pleased with the updates. When my family came to visit they couldn’t stop talking about how different the guest bath looked.

I’m so excited to have gotten so much done in here and can’t want until it’s complete.
