My Home and Car Mobile Office Tour

My Home and Car Mobile Office tutorial and shopping trip has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #LoveAmericanHome #CollectiveBias

My husband is self employed and drives 300 miles a day so his office is his car. I’m also self employed so on some days, I tag along and bring my work with me.

I normally pack my office supplies in a bag with a handle, but I wanted a more substantial solution.

I went to Walmart to pick up a few supplies to put together this work tote. I found a square plastic crate that was the perfect size and shape. It’s sturdy enough to hold everything I need to work on the road.

In it I put my laptop, tablet, work binder, important folders, writing tools, pads and car fragrances.

Car fragrances might not seem to make sense, but when we spend eight hours in and out of the car eating, working and napping it can get a little ‘food funky’ if you know what I mean.

To make sure we don’t start smelling like tuna or onions from lunch, I want to keep one or two car fragrances in my mobile office. That way I always have one to use in the car.

While at Walmart I picked up the Yankee Candle® “Pink Sands” Ultimate Car Jar and Smart Scent Vent Clips. They can be found in the auto fragrance area or the air care section of the store for $4.94 a pack.

I chose the Yankee Candle® “Pink Sands” Ultimate Car Jar and Smart Scent Vent Clip because pink is one of my favorite colors.

I opened them both to see what they’d smell like in my car and they smelled delicious.

I knew I’d be putting one in my husband’s car, but couldn’t decide which one until I saw them both in my car. I ended up giving him the Yankee Candle® Smart Scent Vent Clip because the Yankee Candle® Ultimate Car Jar is just too cute not to keep.

I’m so excited about my new mobile office and how much easier it will be to transport my work space from the house to the car.

Check out the 5 second video I made showing you how I pack my mobile office.

How do you keep your car organized and smelling fresh on-the-go?

    1. The fragrance of a fresh out of the plastic new auto can be exceptionally wonderful. Tragically, that odor can blur quickly if your auto is not kept clean. Scents from junk, earth, smoking, and so forth can influence how your auto's inside can smell in the Car Scents.

    2. Very efficiently written information. It will be beneficial to anybody who utilizes it, including me. Keep up the good work. For sure i will check out more posts. This site seems to get a good amount of visitors.

    8. You are too creative, I am in awe of your organizational skills- and I NEED to find one of those hot pink crates. I use a system of bags and…well…the floor to keep my work organized in my car! #client

      1. I use bags too. They were getting a bit heavy and not enough space. You'd like this set up and the crate is under $4!!
