Meatless Meal Plan

Germaine and I have slacked on meal planning big time ever since we decided to make the move to both of us working on our brand. We’re home way more, but we don’t have a true schedule just yet so we have eaten out way to much or skipping meals all together. I’m not even going to talk about how inconsistent we’ve been in the gym. He’s been going way more than I have, but we’re not been going as consistently as we used to.

The whole situation had me feel way out of whack so I decided to wipe the slate clean. I started the week fresh with a meal plan that would be ready for me after my workouts and in the afternoons while working in my office. The kids are going back to school tomorrow so It felt like now was the right time. Back to school always feels like the perfect point in the year to rekindle goals and restart good habits.

My Meal Plan

For this meal plan I only focused on my breakfast and lunch. The kids will those two meals at school and Germaine will make what he wants.

For my meal plan I paired some homemade ingredients with Sweet Earth Frozen Foods to create these five meals. I have to drive 30 minutes to find Sweet Earth at my local Whole Foods, but it’s worth it. The in-store experience is nice and it’s like a whole food oasis. Those super unique items I need and anything plant-based I can most likely find there.

My eating style leans a lot toward plant-based, but I’m not 100% plant-based. I typically exclude meat from two of my three daily meals and eat just plant-based. I like plant-based is because it’s easier to prepare and digest. I feel just as full eating plant meals as I do meals with meat, plus my body and mind operates better when I eat more fruit, vegetables and grains. My digestion is better, I’m able to focus more and my energy levels are higher.  

Lunch

This weeks meals include a mix of fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, eggs, a Sweet Earth Protein Lovers Functional Breakfast Burrito, the Sweet Earth Herb Lover’s 5 Cheese Pizza and the Protein Lover’s Pizza. Meatless Meal Plan Meatless Meal Plan

The Herb Lover’s 5 Cheese Pizza is a mix of Mozzarella, Fontina, Asiago, Romano & Parmesan cheese with a bright herb pesto on a Rosemary herb crust. If you cook it just right the crust is soft and the pizza is so flavorful. This pizza is perfect for cheese lovers.Meatless Meal Plan

The other pizza is the Sweet Earth Protein Lover’s Pizza. It looks like it has pepperoni and sausage on it but that’s their Planet Pepperoni™ and Tuscan Savory Grounds®. The texture and taste of the Protein Lover’s Pizza reminds me of a true meat lovers style pizza without the meat. I paired the pizza with (1) cup of roasted Brussel sprouts, almond and cranberries.Meatless Meal Plan

Breakfast

For breakfast on Monday and Wednesday I made a scrambled egg stir fry with Brussel sprouts and spinach paired with Brussel sprouts and grapes. On Tuesday I have a Sweet Earth Protein Lovers Functional Breakfast Burrito. The burrito has egg whites, quinoa, cheddar cheese, MEATLESS Benevolent Bacon™, and Tuscan Savory Grounds™ inside.Meatless Meal Plan
