I write and talk a lot about fitness, but something that’s equally as important as exercise is healthy eating.
The easiest way to make healthy food choices is to intentionally plan your meals. Meal planning is not hard and once you have a few weeks under your belt, you can simply rotate through your previous weeks.
One thing I highly recommend when it comes to meal planning is proper containers. Here are the plastic and glass food storage containers I use.
You’ll want to have both freezer and oven proof containers of various sizes. My food storage containers are smaller than my husbands because I eat smaller portions.
Food storage containers allow you to control portion size. They also take the thought out of eating.
Once you’ve gone through the process of creating a meal plan and organizing your food into containers, all you have to do is grab and eat.
