This bedroom has gone from a dark dungeon like feel to a bright, neutral, haven.
When it’s all said and done, my accent color will be a bold turquoise. I’ve already begun bringing in lighter versions of the color just to warm my husband up to the idea. I don’t just want to pop it on him at once.
Our bedroom is a work in progress. We save and buy what we want. Our most recent purchase were these nightstand tables, but we still have a few more items to buy before the room is complete.
We still have the other end of the room to finish up as well. Here’s what it looked like in the process of being painted.
Now that the hideous carpet is up and everything painted, the room looks so much better.
In the next few weeks I hope to cross of everything on that “To-Do” list below.
Once the room is completely finished I’ll share some final pictures. The next room we’re supposed to update is our living room and guest bathroom, but the bathroom may take a backseat to an outdoor project I want to tackle.
I want to hang sheer curtain around the deck we built last year, so I may do that before I tackle the bathroom.
