Make Ahead Valentine's Day Dinner for Two

Even though my husband and I try to make everyday feel like Valentine’s Day we still like to place a little bit of emphasis on February 14th by enjoying a romantic meal.

He’ll often beat me to the punch by cooking up something I like but this year he’ll be no match for me with my make ahead Valentine’s dinner for two.

I already had many of the ingredients and only had to run to Walmart for a Nestle Le Lechera Tres Leche baking kit, Buitoni Marinara sauce and Linguini.

The Nestle Tres Leche baking kit is so easy to use and comes with everything you need already in the box. It’s just a matter of mixing and baking.

After the cake was baked, I poked holes in it, combined the three milks and poured them over the cake.

If you’ll be freezing your cake until Valentine’s Day, I’d suggest waiting until Valentines Day to soak it in milk. Just unthaw, pour and let it sit in the fridge for four hours.

Once it’s soaked four hours, top it fruit or whipped cream.

For the main dish we are having Three Cheese Linguini which I assembled inside my two mini casserole dishes.

I layered in Buitoni Marinara sauce, cooked Linguini, cooked kale, goat cheese, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

Once assembled, I snapped on the lids and popped them in the freezer until Valentines Day.

One Valentines day I’ll take them out for the freezer and allow them to thaw in the fridge for a few hours.

Once thawed I’ll pop them in the oven until the cheeses are melted and bubbly.

Here’s what your dish will resemble on Valentines Day.

My husband will have his mini Three Cheese Linguini and I’ll have mine.

This is going to be such a time saver on Valentine’s Day and will allow us to focus on each other rather than cooking.
