It’s almost time for the big game tournament and I decided to put together a family brackets party.
My husband will be teaching me all about brackets while he and the boys enjoy some ‘man time’.
For the party I made a really simple banner using party streamer.
To start, I cut eighteen 14-inch long strips of streamer. Next, I layered two strips on top of each other and folded them both in half.
Then I began twisting at the fold. Just a few twists should be fine. After creating that first twist, I then slid my fingers down the strand about an inch and a half and twisted the two strands together to form a loop.
Once I’d created nine streamer tassels, I threaded a piece of string through each loop and hung the banner.

Once it was hung, I trimmed to bottoms of each strand of streamer for a finished look.
Here’s the completed streamer party banner paired with the Referee Shirts Banner tutorial I used for my Football Game Day party.
