We are finally ready for school to begin.
Everyone has their supplies and schedule and my kids are excited about school this year, especially my oldest son since we got him a new phone.
We bought the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime at Walmart for $149.00.
He tried to keep a straight face and act like he wasn’t overjoyed, but I knew he was. He just turned fifteen and I guess he thinks he’s too old to smile.
I knew his old phone was freezing up and shutting off so I surprised him with this one a week before the start of school.
He thinks having a phone it’s a gift to him, but it’s really peace of mind for me. His phone let’s us communicate when he’s out on his own and his plan is affordable.
He has the $29.88 a month Walmart Family Mobile wireless plan that gives him unlimited talk, text and data with up to 1G of 4G LTE data. All we did was transfer his existing SIM card to his new phone.
The Walmart Family Mobile plan is so simple to use and it’s affordable. There’s also no-contract so I can cancel anytime. The ability to cancel was definitely a selling point for me because I wasn’t sure if my son would be responsible with the phone.
We talked to him about our phone rules and told him the consequences of disobeying, but he’s been very responsible.
That’s worked out perfect because he’s just a call away if I need to reach him.
Ever since we gave him a phone he calls me when after school activities end and I’m there in no time.

I have shared with you how I’m just a phone call away from my family. Who will you need to connect with when heading back-to-school and how can Walmart Family Mobile help you?
