I’m pretty much in the gym four to five days a week toning and building muscle. I remember when I used to hate working out and now I love it.
You can tell because I’m always taking pictures to keep track of my progress.
My husband encouraged me to get back in the
gym to stay healthy after having our youngest child, but truth be told, my motivation was to get my pre children physique back.
At the end of the day, I want to look great when I looked in the mirror.
The first few years I went on and off attending classes and plateaued.
I’d shed the baby weight, but wasn’t building muscle so I started using assisted weight machines, but still wasn’t seeing the muscle definition I wanted.
When I talked to my husband about it he said I’d need to lift weights and take protein to build muscle.
To start out, I was doing the same exercises as he was using lighter weight.
Later I added more weight and different exercises.
I’m at the point where I don’t need a reminder to drink my EAS protein after every workout. I drink my protein shake because I know I need it to rebuild muscle.
I prefer EAS over most of the brands I’ve tasted and I alternate between the EAS powder and ready to drink shakes.
When I’m running late the ready to drink cartons are convenient and I don’t have to worry about them spilling on the ride home from the gym.

Protein is an important part of my fitness routine because it helps me build muscle, recover from my workout and maintain existing muscle.
I thought it was a waste of money at first, but once I started doing more weight training I realized protein was necessary.
I feel the difference in recovery time when I work out and drink my EAS protein shake compared to when I skip it.
I buy my EAS Myoplex 4 pack at Walmart in the pharmacy section.
Girl, your arms are great, but look at those LEGS! *whistles* #client
