Handpainted Gift Box and Gift Idea

Mother’s Day is four days away and if you’ve waited until the last minute to plan, I have the perfect gift idea for you.

If the mom you’re shopping for is a complete girly girl, that loves to smell good she’ll love this handpainted gift box which includes includes jewelry and a fine fragrances at a budget friendly price.

To create it all you need is a few things.

For my gift box, I’m using the Love2Love Fresh Rose + Peach from Coty. I bought it at Walmart and it smells so good. Some other scents are the Jasmine + Sparkling Mimosa, and Freesia + Violet Petals.

The newest Love2Love scent is Blue Bell + White Tea which is what I went looking for.

It’s on a special end cap display along with their $0.50 Love2Love gift bags, but my Walmart didn’t have it yet.

I also picked out a pretty necklace from the jewelry department. Everything else I use for this I had on hand.

To make my box one of a kind I gave it a coat of pink blush colored paint. Once that dried I applied gold paint using a sponge craft brush. I just dabbed the gold paint onto to the box top in random spots until it looked nice to me.

To keep the gifts in place, I used some gift box paper from my craft supplies.

I also included a scented candle and pink lipstick.

I am so delighted with the way this handpainted gift box turned out and think the gifts a super cute for a young hip mother.

      1. Love this and bet any mom would, too! If I had $1,000 to spend on myself for Mother's Day I'd use it to go visit my mom so we could spend the day together! 🙂 #client
