Game Day Basketball Party Table

Having friends over for a party especially when each family has four or more kids, can get crazy, but not if you plan ahead.

This weekend we had an epic basketball themed party with some friends. It was really stress free and laid back.

I started planning on Monday by picking up everything I needed for the food. I made baked ziti for the main course.

For appetizers, I bought Delimex taquitos, and tacos using this $1 off on any TWO (2) Delimex® Frozen Taquito products (Excluding Fruit Taquito Products) coupon at Walmart. The coupon is available for print through April 7th and expires May 4th.

The ziti was cooked on Tuesday and placed in the freezer. Then the taquitos, and tacos were cooked just before my friends arrived.
Delimex tacos and taquitos only take 11 minutes to cook and they taste really good served with a 5 layer Mexican dip.
To make the dip, I layered re-fried beans, sour cream, salsa, Guacamole and shredded cheese into appetizer cups.

For the dessert and snacks I kept it super simple as well. Using a black permanent marker and tangerines, I created mini basketballs.

I also served some cheese puffs and cupcakes and gave everything basketball themed names.

For the party I set up a mini photo wall, which was one of the funnest parts for me.

I love taking pictures and capturing memories of events.

Using a black tri-fold poster board lined with orange streamer strips, I tried to create a basket ball themed photo backdrop. It was so fun taking pictures with everyone.

Here are some more pictures from the party.
