I just love those cute vanity trays I see in the home decor store that are labeled with words like “ring” or “lotion”. The ones I see are usually white with black words and didn’t fit the style I wanted for my guest bath so I decided to make my own.

I wanted a place to display toiletries and cute decor on the vanity for my guest. While doing some girl time shopping I came across the new to America, Le Petit Marseillais™ display at Walmart. The collection has 17 products and can be found on the specialty bath and body aisle where the loofahs are located. The collection includes an assortment of eight body/hand moisturizers, two liquid hand soaps, six body washes and a bar soap with prices ranging from $3.99 – $7.97.

The full collection is in Walmart stores and also online!

The items from the collection that are in my guest bath are the Le Petit Marseillais™ Mandarin & Lime Extra Gentle Shower Gel, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond & Argan Oil Nourishing Body Milk Lotion, and Shea Butter, Sweet Almond & Argan Oil Nourishing Hand Cream.

The body wash which is paraben-free, phthalate-free, pH balanced, and not tested on animals, will go in the shower and the lotions on my Easy DIY Vanity Tray. Let me show you how I made this tray.

1. Measure the inside surface of the tray and cut out a piece of wrapping or contact paper to fit. Glue it in place inside of the tray.

2. Next, apply the words you want using vinyl sticker letters or your stencil and paint. I chose the words body and hand to distinguish between the Le Petit Marseillais™Shea Butter, Sweet Almond & Argan Oil Nourishing Body Milk Lotion, and Shea Butter, Sweet Almond & Argan Oil Nourishing Hand Cream.

I love how the Moroccan quatrefoil pattern looks with the gold lettering and acrylic tray. This simple little tray makes having lotions on the vanity look way more decorative and thought out.
