It’s been hard making healthy food choices over the last few weeks. Between holiday social events and the overall busyness of the holidays, my eating habits have been terrible.
I’ve found myself going through the drive through and stopping at the mall food court more often simply because I’ve been ill prepared when it comes to my meal planning.
Since I know my schedule will be crazy until mid January I’m making some adjustments to my meal plan. I don’t have the energy or time to make my morning smoothie and afternoon protein shake from scratch so I’m substituting them with the Campbell’s New V8 Protein Shakes and Bars.
Between the bars and the shakes there are 6 flavors and they provide up to 12g protein.

How to Create a Healthy Snack Car Kit
Each week over the next couple of weeks I’ll stock my car with V8 Protein Shakes and Bars.
That way I’ll have healthy snacks with me, in an easy to restock container, when I get hungry.
With this kit, there’s no need to even bring the content in the house each week after shopping. Everything in it is shelf stable, so as I buy them, I’ll just replenish the container.
Now when I’m out couponing or on the ride home from the gym, I snack on things I won’t regret later.
