We love game time around here. With my husband and two boys rooting for three different teams it’s definitely an event. On game time, I like making game time foods to munch on as we root for our favorite teams. It’s been a while since we’ve incorporated dip so I decided to switch things up a bit and create these crispy buffalo chicken fries to pair with Dean’s Dip NEW Bacon flavored dips. Dean’s Dip has two NEW dip flavors and I wanted to have them both at our next homegate gathering. So I went to Publix, Walmart and Lowes looking for NEW Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip and Dean’s Bacon Ranch Dip but, I was ultimately only able to find the Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip.Crispy Buffalo Chicken Fries with Cheddar Bacon Dip

It’s been super cold here and I wanted to make something spicy to warm things up around here. My kiddos are just getting over colds so we’re spending the weekend on the couch, under the covers watching football all day. For lunch, I made some delicious Crispy Buffalo Chicken Fries to pair with Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip. The chicken fries are made using thin slices of chicken coated with buffalo sauce and flour. The crispy chicken fries are perfect for dipping on game time. I usually pair them with ranch dressing, but who knew they’d taste even better with Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip? We all know, “Everything tastes better with Bacon” but the spicy flavor from the chicken and cheddar bacon from Dean’s Dip made this a new flavor experience. Dean’s Dip is a refrigerated dip that has a cool, creamy taste and texture. It comes in a convenient dip-able container making it easy to use on lazy football weekends.

The Dean’s Cheddar Bacon and Bacon Ranch Dip are available nationwide plus you can print this HIGH VALUE $1 off one Dean’s Bacon Ranch or Cheddar Bacon Dip coupon and save big when you purchase it.

Once you grab your favorite flavor, you can pair it with my super simple Crispy Buffalo Chicken Fries recipe below.

Crispy Buffalo Chicken Fries

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Category: appetizer

Yield: Serves 4

Crispy Buffalo Chicken Fries

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless-skinless chicken breast
  • 1 c. of flour
  • 1/2 c. of buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 c. of water
  • 1 tbs. red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 black pepper
  • 2 c. of brine (2 c. cold water + 1/4 c. of salt)

Instructions

  1. Slice each breast into 1/2 inch strips. Using semi frozen breast makes this easier to do.
  2. Next, place the strips in the brine for 1 hours.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the water and buffalo sauce. In another medium bowl, mix the flour, 1 tbs. red pepper flakes, 1/2 tsp. Cayenne pepper, 1 tsp. Salt and 1 black pepper.
  4. Heat about 1 cups of oil in a shallow fry pan. Begin dipping each strip into the buffalo sauce, then into the flour, and into the hot oil.
  5. Cook each strip for about 5 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel.

Notes

Cut the chicken strips when it's semi frozen.
