I hope you all have been enjoying the live Instagram meal planning series I’ve been hosting this month. My goal is to help you (and myself), kick-start this year by planning some healthy and some yummy breakfasts to start the day with.
One of the easiest breakfasts we can add to our meal plan is cereal. Post has several great options like Post Great Grains, Post Cereals Raisin Brand and Post Honey Bunches of Oats which are all delicious in a bowl of cold milk. But what about those days when you don’t have the time or energy to make a bowl of cereal? That’s when these delicious Cranberry Yogurt Coated Cereal Bars are the perfect substitute.
My biggest struggle in the mornings is with skipping breakfast. I’m up early and out the door to the gym and don’t really want to sit down for breakfast so these bars let me start my day with “Spoonfuls of Goodness” on the go. The fiber in Post whole grain cereals fuel my body for the day and keeps me full until lunch. Post has so many cereal options, you can definitely find one you’ll love.

Who’s ready to try this recipe? Right now you can find all of your favorite Post cereals at Walmart. This recipe works especially well with Post Great Grains, Post Cereals Raisin Brand and Post Honey Bunches of Oats. These varieties either have dried fruit or nuts in them, making that one less ingredient to add.
Omg can we say yum?!! These cereal bars look absolutely delicious. Must give your recipe a try
You did a great job with these. I've never had a lot of luck with cereal bars. They are always too crunchy or way to soft. These look perfect, and I love the yogurt coating.
They look so yummy and so easy to make. Always buy these it will be great to prepare this myself. Thanks for sharing!!
Give it a try! It's fun deciding what cereal and dried fruit you'll use.

Wow, these look like store-bought granola bars without the added preservatives!! I'm so impressed. I'm always looking for breakfasts I can grab and run out the door with!
Thanks! It's taken me a few tries the figure out to best ingredients and right amount of stickiness to get them to stay together.
I love breakfast bars! I love how easy they are to grab and go! I will definitely have to try this recipe out!
Awesome Carrie! You'll love them.
Yummy yummy! I am loving these cereal bars just looking at the pictures! They look like they will provide me with good fiber in my diet and help me maintain a healthy snacking habit.
To make them healthy omit the yogurt icing. It's really sweet.

They really do Val!
Yum! I love breakfast bars but have never made my own!
The first time I tried they didn't stay together but I tweaked the recipe a bit. They're not hard to make at all following my steps.

I think today love it too! I had to fight myself not to eat them all and share with my kiddos.
yum! These sound amazing. I love cranberry and I could always use a good bar!
I love the tart flavor of cranberries too. Dried cherries would work as well.
I love having bars like this on hand. We've made them a few times but I will for sure try this one!
I love how I can switch up the flavors by changing the cereal or dried fruit.
