This week I’m in the honeymoon phase of back to school planning. You know that time when you get all excited at the sight of brand new school supplies and freshly painted school halls.

This is the time when I begin mapping out the best way to help my kids stay organized so I’ve been picking up supplies here and there and also drafted a Weekly Assignment printable to help keep us on track.
To organize their assignments, I’m using FriXion Clicker erasable pens that I found at Target in the office supply section.
They come in the colors red, blue and black. Target will have the 3pk assorted or black for 20% off 8/23-8/29!!
I bought the 3 pack assorted which is perfect for to assign each of my children a color.
I made a quick circle near each of their names as a reminder of which child was assigned which color.
I then went in and wrote in some other reminders about library books and such.

My printable and my FriXion Clicker erasable pens are going to be my go to tools this year to stay organized.
I’ve always liked how well Pilot pens write so I went back to Target and bought more to support their partnership with STOMP Out Bullying.
Pilot is making a huge donation to STOMP out Bullying now through 2016 with the goal of erasing bullying and back to school stress in U.S. schools.
I too want to help you eliminate stress. If you’d like to print a copy of my Weekly Assignment sheet to keep things organized this school year click here. I’ve left the boxes where my children’s names are blank so that you can customize the sheet for your family. It’s so easy to use. Take a look at this video showing you how.
Please share a tip on how you make your back to school planning stress free.
