Are you tired of tearing full-sized paper towels into pieces to fit your homemaking needs? I was, so I started ordering Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® at Walmart.com with my grocery orders.
I enjoy cooking and cleaning as long as I can do it in a way that helps me work smarter not harder. As a homemaker, I look for products like Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® paper towels, that help me create meals for my family and clean up with less work.
Today I’m sharing three super simple kitchen tips that will make cleanup easier when creating your favorite recipes.
TIP #1: Buy kitchen products that help you create meals with less clean-up.
Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® paper towels with perforated sheets are one of those products for me. They help me reduce the number of dirty dishes for simple recipes and the NEW Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® sheets give me more sheet size options to use in the kitchen during meal prep.
TIP # 2: Use paper towels that allow you to select the size for the task to reduce waste.
I can choose between using a full sheet, half sheet, and the NEW quarter sheet depending on my needs. Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® sheet sizes provide more control over how much paper towel my family uses for each job, without any waste.
For example, when making these super soft glazed donuts, the Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® full and half sheet sizes were perfect sizes.
When I removed the donuts from the hot cooking oil, the sheets worked perfectly for the cooling portion of this recipe. I placed the larger donuts on a wire cooling rack with two full-size Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® sheets beneath it. For the donut holes, a few half sheets were perfect.
TIP #3 – Use paper products during meal time for easier clean up.
When the donuts were cool, I dipped them in a sweet glaze made using powdered sugar and oat milk. Once most of the excess glaze dripped off, I placed the donut back onto the wire rack. The full-sized sheets under the rack did the trick when it came to catching the glaze drippings.
Once the donuts were all dipped and on the rack, I was able to lift the rack and trash the paper towel. By this time the aroma of my irresistible sweet concoctions had filled the house and I was ready to get into these donuts, but instead of grabbing a saucer, I tore off a quarter-size sheet to place the donuts on.
The smallest sheet from the roll is just the perfect size for serving glazed donuts and milk. These are full-size donuts and as you can see, the quarter sheet has plenty of space for them.
Paper towels are a kitchen counter staple in my home for recipes, hand drying, and cleaning up. They just make some of those everyday homemaking tasks easier. I hope you enjoyed my super simple kitchen hack and gathered some ideas for how Sparkle® Tear-A-Square® can be useful in your home.
