Honduras “Christ Statue” El Picacho

If you’re going to be in Tegucigalpa, Honduras I’m going to tell you about a “not-so-secret” must-see monument. We knew we’d be a bit tired once we arrived in Amsterdam, so we didn’t want to plan a hectic itinerary. Instead, we opted for breakfast and a walking tour of the Netherlands. I really wanted to see the canals in person and get some waffles. After leaving the airport and getting our passports stamped, we hopped on the train to the Amsterdam Central. It took us about 10 minutes to make our way from the terminal, through customs and over to the train station. Then [Click here to continue reading]

How to create a High Puff with Tribal Headband

How to | High Puff with Tribal Headband

Today’s High Puff with Tribal Headband is inspired by my recent travel to Kenya. The country is so vibrant and colorful y’all. Everywhere you look from the city to the bush are bright, bold colors. The chocker I’m wearing is one of two I bought while there and the headband was a gift from a friend. She spent time in Africa and gifted me some fabric. Mine is straight from the ‘Mother Land’, but there are some gorgeous patterns here. The Puff To create the puff I started with freshly washed and blowdried hair. I use the tension method and my hairdryer set on medium heat to dry my hair. It involves gently stretching my hair and drying it. Do y’all see that shrinkage? Once [Click here to continue reading]
