15 Minute Spinach Dip

Part of my daily routine includes carving out time to work in my garden, relaxing on my deck and reading. It’s increasingly important for mamas to carve out time in their day to pursue hobbies that bring them joy. I actually set an appointment in my calendar reminding me to stop during the day and do things that make me a better mom.

In my calendar you’ll see appointments for exercising, reading and prayer. When I didn’t  make an appointment, I found that these tasks went undone. To make them even more significant, I plan a simple mom friendly snacks to enjoy while doing them. It’s usually one that is just for me and not my kids. Dip and crackers is one of my go-to afternoon snacks while reading and relaxing. I make a cheesy spinach dip that’s ready in 15 minutes or less and uses only 5 ingredients. It’s a one pot dip that’s best enjoyed hot and with crackers.

The last time I made this dip I paired it with Blue Diamond® Almond Nut-Thins made with almonds and rice flour. The unique way these are made excludes wheat & gluten. Blue Diamond Nut-Thins are made with Real Blue Diamond® Almonds and no artificial flavors provides a crispy, crunchy texture perfect for dipping.

Nut-Thins are round, light and airy, but firm crackers. They don’t have a big crumble factor when bitten into so even after taking a bite of one loaded with dip, it’s still in tact.Mom Friendly Snacking Options

They come in many flavors including Honey Nut-Thins which taste like a tiny, crunchy version of the cinnamon toast my dad used to make for me as a kid. I like having the honey cinnamon flavored ones for dessert, and the almond ones with this dip.
